-Breath of Fire was awesome up until Dragon Quarter.
-Oddworld: Abe’s Oddessy was a god send.
-Sengoku 3, Gekido (PS1), Return of Double Dragon, King of Dragons, Guardian Heroes and X-Men arcade were the best beat em ups ever.
-Star Wars Jedi Academy is lovely.
-Clockwork Knight needs to return to the world.
-Popular anime games are the devil with a few exceptions.
-Dragon Force owns and deserved to be a mainstream game to the masses.
-All Mortal Kombats except 2 are ass.
-I hate all the zelda games. Only the first one and LTTP I liked.
-Pac-Man 2 is the one of the best games you never played.

I cannot play Disgaea. The presentation and combat are just stale as hell, and I end up getting sleepy. The storyline is entertaining, but everything else is just dry.

Luigi’s Mansion wasn’t that bad. People went on and on like it was a horrible piece of shit. I thought it was at least “ok”. The problem is that it’s unfortunately in the shadow of the legendary Mario franchise…it’s hard to compete with that. Since it’s a character from the same universe and company, people are automatically comparing it(perhaps subconciously) to Mario’s games…and I don’t think they’re being 100% fair in their analysis.

Eternal Champions was fun, and had big potential. Sega should give it another chance in the current generation. Sega has all these IPs from the past that have serious potential…yet they apparently don’t even realize it.

There is no way in the world a Ring Out is an entertaining, satisfying end to a match. It’s stupid as hell to win or lose that way, and that’s a fact. I’ll take a win where I KOed the person any day over a win where he stepped “out of bounds!!LOLZ!”. Whoever came up with the concept(from sumo wrestling I suppose? Stupid “sport” anyway) was a subhuman Down Syndrome-looking mongoloid waste of flesh. Ugh, it’s the most anticlimactic finish to a fight ever conceived.

Cel-shaded polys are the best way so far to present comic/animated characters in a game. It seems popular now to hate cel-shaded stuff simply because it’s successful and becoming slightly more common. Imagine Viewtiful Joe or Jet Grind Radio in REGULAR polygons…that shit would’ve been ugly as crap.

While I see no end to this arguement. I still gotta disagree. It’s the ultimate rope-a-dope. If your “beasting” on some fool that has played the game(I’ll use VF, since SC’s ringout aren’t as well implemented) chances are you are not really beasting but getting baited. Also have you ever used it against shit talkers? I’m guessing not because it’s one of the most rewarding and funny moments you can have in a game. Especially in VF2 when it was in the arcades and dealt with random shit talkers.

I used to do this to my friends all the time. They were HUGE shit talkers, so they would be going off on shit like

“dude, I thought this was your game, you suck and this game su…WHAT THE FUCK?! I wa-wa-was winning. OMFG that’s so cheap”

That’s why I love VF. The game gives you so much freedom with so many ways to win(and lose) it’s just crazy. No other fighter gives you that.
