Would be nice if people kept this to terms people actually use/used on a wide scale rather than trying and failing to be funny but whatever.

“Mexican uppercut” is old…REALLY old, kids. Like WW old. Although to be fair, the vast majority of people during the WW days couldn’t DP, it’s just that the Mexican scrubs took a little longer to learn than the American scrubs, I guess.
Almost most people don’t know the very specific origin of the now general term “footsies”. It comes from Ryu and Ken mashing crouching shorts just outside of sweep range in SF2.

In SF2 every normal move has a name (in Japanese), some of them are pretty funny… might post some later.
Roo - A formally derogatory term for Ryu but is now seen as a kind way of saying his name.

I do occasionally like to call Seth’s sonic booms, peek-a-boos 'cus that is what it sounds like he is saying (to me atleast) w/ Japanese voiceovers on.
