I’m havin enuogh hard time learning IM on a controller LOL nvm S/D LOL but i wouldn’t mind giving it a try.

LOL Sent IS better, trust me…I play Ironman a lot, way more than sentinel. I use him in all kinds of teams, with strider also. But strider/sent/doom is still better, and sent is still better
the only thing you keep saying is free inf. but with sent you can get a free HSF to launch to unfly combo to unblockable and unblockable kill the next character coming in…which is just as bad if not worse (as in good) than IM inf.
technically if you connect a grounded oro. hit and have cable or mag or sent that is enough to kill once they’re are tagged in…so using that as basis for it being a good team is, frankly, dumb.

strider/sent/doom is better…mainly because drones are very useful for stider and sent is such a beast. so far you’re only real argument towards strider/IM is tagging into inf. which wouldn’t happen often and really tagging into sent or mag or cable (with meter) would be better
ive been reading this and have to agree, sent is WAY better for strider than IM. I love IM but im sorry, sent just takes the cake on this one. Good luck hitting someone on the ground with orbs, its possible, but as beats said, prett rare against good players. I read that ok, now strider has a one hit kill, but do you have any idea how hard it is to get that 1 hit with IM on good players, let alone a sent that knows what its doing??? its not easy and it takes work. In the end i still say S/S/D is better than I/S/D any day of the week. I dont know what order you would want IM in, i would play him in the front first. Try those teams out on some of the better players in your area or some of the more well known top players and see what team does better. peace
i agree with kelly 100% sent gives strider the defense he needs to run about safely
haha the reason why IM/S/D sucks is cuz what happens if doom gets snapped in? you’ve got strider/IM.
IM no longer has his DOOM and is stuck with shitty strider assist.
Strider may be able to control space decently with ironman, but he loses all the chip damage which is half of his gameplan. So even if it doesnt evolve around strider like SD does, it now evolves around doom.
yup. IM/S/D isn’t really a good team, especially when you have runaway storm opponent, she’ll just fly all day.
Alright now more questions , >.< i thought i had this down packed but something is wrong here, i get about as far as this part s.lk, s.hk, sj.lk, sj.U+fp, dash up forward, sj.lk, sj.U+fp, fly, lk, u+fp, unfly, after the unfly it won’t let me do anything besides the beam to end it, i can’t U+HP, what exactally am i missin here?
u need to have unfly mode, see past threads for details. Without unfly mode u cant even block after that combo.
basically to save me alot of time if it’s not too much trouble, could ya explain the unfly mode and how exactally to get it to work.
get hit in to the air or while in the air without landing on your back.
after that, you should be able to perform the combo. yes its weird but necessary. to practice it in training mode, you need to set the 2p on manual and have it hit you to get the unfly mode
so if someone launched me into the air but screwed up with the aircombo, and i just used fly in the air , soon as i do that i got it? or like if i mash out of HG/tempest vs a magneto and use fly mode right after i got it from there on? even if i unfly and touch the ground i imagin right?
you dont even have to fly, you already have it. as LONG as you dont normal jump, you wont lose it. so anytime you fly, then unfly, as soon as you unfly you can perform a move now. its marvel magic!
