UMvc3 Trish

Yeah, Zero and Vergil, and a lot of the cast can kill in one combo. Trish (and Chun) are the only ones who can do it while building up to 5 bars against any character (short of like, MODOK, I assume Rocket Raccoon).

And I don’t think it’s the most broken thing at all. It’s that she literally breaks the rules of the game she’s in, even Chun’s infinte doesn’t really do that.

I assume Trish will keep it because I doubt Capcom will bother touching the game anymore though. So, now the dilemma for Trish players is getting over any hate for the TAC system and start using it to your advantage.

im finding this much easier on the small characters like wolvy zero and raccoon, like i break 2 million easily and consistently. they dont fall as fast or close to the ground than the other characters like dante, who i incosistently break 1 million. idk if its just me sucking or what lol

Yeah, I think it’s not a “true infinite”, I noticed I kept dropping Ryu around the same time most of the time I was doing the loop. However, most of the time you’ll have…you know, an actual combo before the TAC so you’ll be killing people before dropping them becomes a problem.

EDIT: Okay I’m currently testing how many reps of the loop you can do on each character. Will update this post after each character, please try to confirm my numbers, or change if necessary. First number is for the Down TAC, second number is for the Up TAC. I’m just counting reps, not hits. If there’s an N in the slot, that means that as far as I know, the loop can’t be done, at least with the starter we know. If there’s an X…well, you’re never in danger of dropping until absurd numbers. If there’s a ?, that means that I think it might be possible, but I can’t get the damn thing to work.

EDIT2: FINISHED…finally. Please double check my work on your own.

Now he has a video doing it off the side TAC. Pretty crazy, if not very situational. And the timing isn’t strict at all, once you get the first 2 reps you’re pretty much set for the rest.

edit: yeah, def character specific, you’re data seems accurate enough. It kept dropping around 5 or 6 reps with wolverine, more againsr deathpool, and yeah the down tac doesn’t even work on modock.

Not character specific at all. During the Part of the loop where u have to Jump and Do M, Do a J.L instead. They will NEVER drop out of the combo. EVERRR. I got up to 5m damage on a array of characters.

you can do j.mm too. it’s funny that the video basically shows the only variation that doesn’t work on everybody.

For some reason the second j. C always seems to wiff even though it visually looks like it should work (ie. TAC, whatever, trap, j. m, j. C, land, j. m , j. C -> wiffs). Any idea what I’m doing wrong? When I get the first rep to work, the rest of it works out fine.

wow idk why i only tried what the video showed. thanks. now my troubles with the average sized characters are gone

i think you just need to do j.m j.h quickly as shes rising, and the dive kick at the peak of the normal jump, that way she has max distance under her to do falling j.m, j.h. you may be doing the dive kick after the peak of the jump expired.

Yeah I know now, I just wish I was told back before I spent 3 hours on it :’(

Not gonna lie. I’m kinda scared of the Magneto/Trish Teams that probably gonna spawn. Magneto able to take you to the corner…Make you guess IF hes gonna go for a TAC (since he has a Reset for it) If he does do it correctly…Your dead and he just gets like…so much meter -.-.

As much as I love Trish. This shit needs to go

The worse thing about this is that hopscotch will more than likely get added HSD if they do decide to patch this…

Well if nothing else, the best way to get rid of something, is to abuse it until people take notice.

Magneto/Trish/Phoenix team ahoy…though that means I actually have to learn Magneto, which I had no desire to do…

Meh, I doubt it, Hopscotch isn’t really the culprit in this.

I tried the infinite for about 30 minutes, still can’t get it. (Copying off the videos on the front page)

Off the down exchange, I do hopscotch into j.M, J.H, and the J.H keeps whiffing. I know that means I’m too low to the ground, but what
do I do to fix that?

Also, off the up-exchange, I see people are doing airdash down into divekick before the hopscotch. How the hell are you timing that? I can’t tell how high up Trish is because she’s offscreen.

Alright first things first, if you’re using the front page video, then to make your life easier, just use Thor as the training dummy.

Next, if the j.H keeps whiffing (as in it’s actually coming out but not hitting the opponent), then just wait a bit after the flight for the opponent to come down to your level.

As for the Up TAC, just ADDF, wait for what feels like an eternity, then Divekick xx Hopscotch. It feels really funky, but you’ll know when you get it.

Alright Trish players, just so you know round trip apparently ignores the rule of when either character hits the ground after a TAC hit stun deterioration kicks in. Round trip has some funky effects that need to be looked into if you guys don’t already know stuff about it. My guess is that resets the hit stun by a set amount. In this case the TAC combo the amount of hit stun deterioration caused by touching the ground is equal to the amount hit stun gained back from the round trip.

That’s false. I’m not using round trip with the side and up tac infinites and i’m going over 3 million.

Yeah, the Round Trip has nothing to do with it.

And it’s not Trish specific anymore either, Magneto has his own infinite, and Sentinel is rumored to have one as well. Whatever’s going on, it’s something in the system we didn’t notice.

The list so far is Magneto, MODOK, ChunLi(this is old tho), Trish, Taskmaster, and Sentinel. I’m testing Strange and Dormammu right now, because it seems to be a mix of TAC engine and characters who have moves with set hit stun, no matter how scaled the combo is.

I tried doing Strange the other day. I think he’s on the ground too long even after a Teleport.

Something about it strikes me as pseudo-A3 Crouch Cancels.

Shit just got real
