Doesn’t excuse not doing the most basic possible combos to make him work ever. They figured out how to do bouncing relaunches with him, don’t tell me they couldn’t figure out how to do QCF+L.
Except this was discovered before the game even came out, it’s in his missions, and it’s pretty simple to do overall. Maybe they have reason to not use it or something, but right now, I don’t see why they wouldn’t do that.
There are many reasons why it’s not practical to go for such a combo, for one thing it doesn’t work on every character and it’s very easy for the amount of hits racked up from such a move to result in the character dropping out. Unless you guys know something that I don’t, I’m still new to the Frank stuff.

Plus doing the tools combo kills Franks forward momentum. With the relaunch, Frank goes forward more helping him put the opponent in the corner and allowing him to be more in the opponent’s face.
Yipes really is the best UMvC3 player ATM, he was destroying Combofiend yesterday. Got to say Nova as an anchor is surprisingly effective, and something that should be looked into more.

Would Akuma be a better anchor to Justin’s new A Team? He said Tatsu still works decently with the team, and Akuma is a far superior anchor to Frank (Anchor Frank seems like a no-no at this point because of leveling, and is also a much better lead character fir that reason). He would be losing that THC, though.
Also, the SoCal tourney is on Offcast today, right? They’re probably running late, as to be expected.

It all depends on two major factors, one is whether or not its easy for ironfist and nova to get combos off tatsu, and the second and most important is whether the team can color co-ordinate. If the answer to either of these questions is no, then no akuma won’t work.
I was actually referring to his Felicia/Storm/Frank team, but yes, color coordination is key heheh
