What is Flocker’s new team?

lol im talking from experience. hes so cheap it honestly doesnt matter how “sloppy” hes playing. if Specner touches you you’re dead. the wolverine mix ups are literally complete guesses and he probably has a ridiculous Wesker by now (not that its hard to) and all of his characters have good health. i mean come on he beat justin like 4-5 majors and hes always been “sloppy”.

Edit: yea forgot about Chris G. so for 1st i think Justin,Chris G,Combo, or Pr rog

I got 500 bison dollars on Honzo_gonzo to win it, peeps be sleeping on him. /trollface

I’ll be rooting for your marvelous afro, Chrisis.

But on the real, I think Viscant got this one in the bag.

He has been playing Zero, Vergil, Hawkeye

I’m surprised he isn’t playing a team Zero like “Zero, Vergil, Dante” or “Zero, Dante, Sentinel” but I guess he wants a good anchor to replace phoenix that can do a lot with x-factor and meter. And is easy to use… I don’t see him getting far without phoenix, but I guess we’ll see. I’m a big fan of Zero but I for some reason just don’t care for flocker since he used phoenix in Vanilla.

I’m hoping for Chris Godlike to take it. Maybe add some more salt to SoCal’s diet.

He has a really good sense of spacing with Zero that I believe will carry him far no matter who he uses. It’s easy to see his skill level is clearly on a higher level with Zero as far as movement and pokes and mix ups even without Phoenix. Marn’s Zero is definitely a step or two under Flocker’s even if you just account for Zero + assist.

Marn doesn’t seem to like the idea of actually working at things, its kind of sad given the talent.

**He’s actually played a really brutal keepaway zero once or twice, and it was ugly as hell. Usually doesn’t bother though.

Marn really isn’t all that motivated, pretty ironic since he uses vergil… But I think he just doesn’t really care much about the game which is why 3 weeks into it he’s finally trying to play umvc3 zero and not vanilla zero. If he worked harder he could be a consistent top player instead of just having success over short periods of time. His magneto and zero are beast, but yeah you’re right he just doesn’t work enough, and also has no confidence. I’ll be straight up, this man needs to start loosing weight and working out, I honestly think that will give him a confidence boost lol

It really is a shame when you see someone with great skill and understanding in whatever it is they do, yet, they just lack the motivation/responsibility. I’ve seen it happen in video games and outside of it, and I’m sure we all know or knew at least one person like that. Maybe he really does need a confidence boost… I mean, it’s his choice whether he wants to care about it or not, but if he’s going to be playing a game, he had better like it and not squander his skill. Just my view.

I’m really disappointed in Dios X’s performance, it’s probably the worst I’ve seen him play…and the thing is that he’s been so consistent in the past, except for this Bar Fights.

That said I’m pretty sure he’s going to Socal Regionals so if he plays his best he should easily get into top 8.

I’m watching the archives.

Ultradavid and James Chen are good commentators, but I just feel like punshing something when they go on about the Nova/Spencer tech Combofiend “came up with”.

No disrespect to any of them, but they could a least pay attention to the SRK front page.

I miss Season Beatings Redemption Marn and early MVC3 release Marn. That guy was beast that would talk trash to anybody because he was really confident of his skill. Yesterday Marn saying he was free n stuff really got me disappointed.

Yeah I’m not really sure what to make of it. Although it probably has to do with the fact that using a character that can’t block or attack during their ghetto wave dash against Wolverine first wasn’t really the best idea.

Seriously, they’re not very good commentators. They’re charming and likable, but that’s a different thing entirely.

I watched Marn play in person at MLG Providence Madcatz booth. He was melting faces.

I wish he’d done that last night :frowning:

I don’t expect them to follow the front page of SRK, I do expect them to play the game. They don’t. They’d be great if they knew more about it, and given how little they compete it’s actually kind of amazing how they can ad lib and still be tolerable. Well, most of the time anyway.

good commentating is a responsibility, and people need to start treating it as such.

The funny thing is you can effectively commentate while not really knowing stuff just by changing your style (ala steve, it doesn’t matter if he knows his shit or not).

Acting like you know stuff when you don’t is the absolute worst of all worlds.

I think they do a good job…

What makes them not-good? :frowning:

I miss TvC Marn.
