I do notice that ground :l: arrows and :h: cause a soft knockdown, ive gotten easy confirms from them, but its situational, as in it only happens if you do it a certain way
I have been using Taskmaster’s counters since Vanilla to and to be fair, even with a good read, you can easily still end up mistiming or telegraphing it. My overall view on the adjustments to his counter were to make him more respectable. Most people don’t even know he has it and even if they find out, there really isn’t anything about it worth respecting. My suggestion on the recovery was more-so for the projectile counter…ESPECIALLY after countering a beam.
The hit stun suggestion was nothing to do with his super. It was to improve his combo possibilities. Also, the idea of simply slightly reducing hit stun deterioration on him instead was put out there.
Anyway, I see you were responding to the original post. I think ya should read the whole thread and see what everyone came up with together.
I saw someone suggest this, have his air h arrows give a little more pop up for easier pick ups.
