Dont know why Champ ever switched away from this team vs Chris G. This team was always capable of beating morridoom. **Vergil is the only problem but hes been snapping him every time and getting the kill. **Then Doom/Morrigan comes in and pretty much just dies because that duo has pretty bad comeback potential. Mag/Doom can beat morridoom as long as you have a patient and smart player like Champ behind them and then you couple that with Dorm who does well against her anyways.

I could say something other than I told you so…but I told ya so.

Inb4Chris powers up and doesn’t lose for the rest of the year.

He isn’t. Just because you’re a good counter pick to a top tier doesn’t mean you’re super strong. Honestly Strange is good against her too but he’s not top tier. Hell Ghost Rider’s actually pretty good vs. Vergil but he’s trash. People need to start understanding the power of counter picking in this game instead of running the same shells against every damn thing. MorriDoom actually has some pretty hard core counters. Dante/Dorm/Strange for example is a living hell for MorriDoom.

Which would basically mean the game would start becoming Marvel 2 with a lot more playable characters.

So FChamp thought that Phoenix’s bullshit would automatically counter MorriDoom’s bullshit. That sort of explains why he so adamantly ran that whack Dorm/Morri/Phoenix team for so long vs ChrisG. I’m glad he finally discovered that he was wrong, though. Dorm has a much better matchup vs Morrigan than Phoenix. He’s still on the right track, though, since Phoenix would be the better pick vs ZMC and other teams. Champ’s characters are collectively pretty good at fighting anything.
