People can say what they want about F.champ, but he seems like as much of a fraud as the next man. Almost every win he had in those sets against Dios X was won by Dark Phoenix. Dios X had him on tournament point so …that means FChamp almost lost to this guy who is an ‘idiot’.

Nobody likes a winner who can’t win gracefully.

You guys must be joking if you can’t tell the difference between the top Wolverines. Ricky, Justin, noel, Rog, all play him pretty differently even for such a simple character.

They just play differently… they certainly don’t play that character differently.

JWong plays the same regardless of who is on point. He plays his Wolverine just like he plays his Spencer, Felica, Iron Fist and Vergil - spam assist 2 and poke. If one hits, combo, if one doesn’t, back off and try again.

PR Rog plays similarly, though with Wolverine it’s even more exaggerated. Ricky plays instant overhead gamble Wolverine and leans on berserker slash. Noel leans on berserker slash. Everything they do relies primarily on assist (Ricky and Rog can only guess at an instant overhead and blow X-factor once). JWong’s just the one who tends to back off a little more while doiing it.

Even leaning on BS would have been better than just “I’ll just do every single thing Wolverine has to open him u- WHY ISN’T THIS WORKING?” I’m not trying to say he’s bad at the game or anything because I’m hella free, but I can recognize patterns and also when there isn’t one.

We can’t be too upset though. With a character like Wolverine, you have to admit, random works.

I wonder how he feels about the post-game interview. lol.

He was making fun of his appearance, which is something he cant help. And comparing that to making fun of some glasses? lol. But I guess its cool to clown on peoples looks.

he basically said dios wasn’t playing “smart” so it through him off his game because he was expecting smart gameplay. meh, i hear people bitch about this all the time both on streams and in my local scene, its such a weak excuse to me

It’s a pretty valid excuse, but I don’t think it applies in this case.

Anyway, FChamp has always been an idiot. What’s the point of attacking Dios X’s looks when FChamp’s voice sounds like he hasn’t undergone puberty?

Dios X’s Wolverine was solid, the main reason he lost was popping x factor prematurely, and then not taking advantage of it. Other than that, you can easily say he got randomed out by Phoenix.

I haven’t really watched CM yet, I just was commenting on the other Wolverines. The character has no depth, so if you want to call going for a mixup before or after putting the opponent in a blockstring with assist “playing differently” then sure there are some nuances. But other than that it’s playing Wolverine. Kinda hard to play him differently unless you’re simply playing him wrong.

Edit:Hell every character has optimal play in theory so anyone not playing to that is playing any character wrong quite frankly.
