I wish people would stop comparing current game shit to “hit confirming off a single normal back in the day”. Older games had significantly higher hitstop values on almost everything, so even if you got less actually stun out of them, you still had more actual time to verify the hit. Sure, it was still a difficult skill to learn, but it’s also something that is flat impossible in a lot of newer titles unless the hit has obscene hitstun attached.

Me being a point Dante player with Vajra… I think we have all went through the “volcano from hardknockdown for more damage” phase. Then when put to use in an actual match you realize shit drops more often than u benefiting from dat 150-200K from not dropping it.

Uh…the difference between a volcano pickup and a cold shower->propshredder pickup is about 350k, not 150-200k. Though it’s a valid point that just getting to them after a vajra hit could make your volcano confirm not work, while coldshower propshredder works all fucking day. It’s different from j.S or hammer confirms where you’ll already be right next to the opponent and even if you wait a little bit you willl still be able to do a volcano pickup into shot loops (but not propshredder).

It’d be interesting to see a damage comparison between volcano pickups and coldshower->st.M st.S pickups, which can then transition directly into shotloops.

His team only has trouble if Wolverine dies and Wolverine didn’t die much. Lot of ways for Wolverine to die if he doesn’t do something in those first 10 seconds but Justin is one of the kings of making Wolvie work in those 10 seconds.

I personally dnt consider shot loops practical… I know the theory monsters do… but not I. Timing is too height and weight dependant to be sometthing to hang your hat on in heated moments. It’d pretty much be Joker playing Dante

2 shot loops are easy as fuck and max shot loops are hardly difficult. Hardest thing about em is linking stinger after it. Even then you could just do reverb shock.
