What are you talking about? Morrigan has more reliable escape options than most of the cast (Shadow Servant, Shadow Blade’s high priority, 4 frame j.L with a sword hitbox, etc.)

You can straight jump over shadow servant, but I agree the dragon punch is great and safe since you can cancel it . She’s got fantastic buttons but since you can’t block during that dash it’s kind of a gamble. Don’t get me wrong she’s great and in the air it’s like playing contra, but her speciality is definately far range. That j.S is stupid though, and I never knew that the j.l was 4 frames so that’s interesting

Oh no not this again. You hating on Morrigan too just like Remix from the recent Big 2? It was the pairing of hidden missles along with Morrigan moreso than Morrigan on her own. Morrigan on her own is not top tierish, although the hidden missles help her alot. She’s not a braindead character.

I remember when all of you ‘agreed’ that Doom was an awkward high execution character. Now Ultimate comes around and one change that never even mattered to Vanilla Doom players (s foot dive) suddenly makes everyone go “Oh durr, this guy is easy, not high execution”. This character never had high execution whether foot dive caused hard knockdown or not. Its just that all of you were so ignorant to the character that you thought he was hard. Well I’m taking the cat out of the bag with Spiderman. This kid is easier than Doom with potential to be even better. Stop saying he requires high execution.

This applies to Morrigan as well.

Not only does Remix think Morrigan is broken, Dieminion tweeted that he thinks Morrigan is top 5 and has no bad matchups. Not that I agree, but its interesting. I’d put her as a solid A-tier though with room to grow.

Despite playing a character with a powerup mode that shares that property (Firebrand) I think that the ability to gain meter while boosted (especially when some boosts last ~10 seconds) is pants on head retarded. Most of the powerup modes in this game provide sufficiently godlike bonuses to the point where allowing the character to gain meter while boosted is just insult to injury most of the time. I mean jeez, imagine if Zero gained meter while in Sougenmu? Wait, sorry, BRB. Just imagined how absolutely busted that would be and now need to change my pants.

Zero is a notoriously bad matchup for Wesker. Until he gets strider then its about evenish. That nemesis kill was gross

Morrigan is definitely not top 5… Doom,Zero,Hawkeye,Taskmaster,Dorm,Spencer,Wesker,Trish,Magneto,Firebrand,Dante, Vergil, Felecia,Nova, and possibly Akuma seem pretty easily matched for her.
