I am not even trolling. I was just messing around with DT vergil in training mode. Fooling around with his airdash J.H to see if I could get it to cross up on normal characters. No dice. Turn XF3 on and that shit is crossing up Firebrand
I’ll admit that I thought it was pretty dumb that they randomly decided to give Ammy a 40 percent speed boost and then not even juice up Thor a bit. I mean he’s kinda shitty outside of a 1st or 2nd spot but…at least give the man something if he’s gonna XF2. Being able to be 40 percent faster + slow = they have to pick a select few characters to even get away from you.
Once TAC infinites get rolling around people will see the power of Vergil DT. It’s literally better than swords IMO. Swords will help you close neutral but DT just makes him just a better character which is insane because of how good he already is.
Completely remove TAC and X-Factor. Decrease damage on chain combos in general.
UMvC3 is now a better game.
Oh and nerf the shit out of or completely remove Zero and Vergil for fucks sake I have never seen as much of a Mtn Dew Smoke Weed everyday character as Vergil in a fighting game ever.
Maybe it’s the speed boost from X-Factor so the attack starts up quicker and hits further behind than it normally would have? I dunno, just theorizing.
This is just going to keep getting sillier now that people know you can land in a crouching state to circumvent a hitstun reset.
This is bar none the easiest infinite found so far. I mean people have said the Iron Man one is easy and I guess it is if your execution is good, but this one you literally just jump and hit one button over and over again until your opponent dies.
It’s not even that they didn’t give Thor a boost. They actually removed the speed boost he had in Vanilla because I guess it didn’t “fit” the character?
It was such a small boost they might as well have just taken it away like they did. It was obviously done so he could be the guy that does a whooooole lotta damage in XF but as long as you know combos everybody can do a whole lot.
