You’re talking about casuals, not the ‘FPS crew’. FPS players, who are genuine FPS players, generally move to other genres really well. Yes they’re elitist, and yes they’ll be pains in the asses, but unlike casuals who act elitist and suck ass, FPS players can back their mouth up with professional play.

[details=Spoiler]Last hitting is so dynamic I can’t even begin to explain it. No seriously it’s not complicated at all. There’s nothing dynamic about last hitting. If anything it’s an outdated mechanic that needs to be deprecated.

**Positioning **is in every game you’ve ever played.

Harassing is a matter of who has better mana regen and how you can out range someone. So called ‘skill shots’ are over glorified and more than stupid easy to hit if the player has any sort of hand eye coordination (RTS experience).

Trading is about as deep as League gets when it comes to actual combat.

Map awareness is no where near as difficult as it is in any RTS. A player has 6 buttons to manage including another 6 or 12 buttons to consider in their lane. If they can’t be ‘aware’ of shit going down, or lack the means of a voip communication, then they’re not just a bad MOBA player, they’re a bad gamer altogether.

Lane Control? Doesn’t that sort of encompass harassing, positioning, and denying?

Zoning is uh… Isn’t that called a poke/harassment?

Item Builds are given to players on a website just like with WoW. The only difference is whenever a player dies, they have to switch it up a bit. They’re not going to get a kill unless the opposing lane is being downright stupid so they have a few choices item wise from that point on. Determining which item to use it arguably the most complex feature of League. So much so it detracts from player skill. All that positioning, well thought out pokes, team ganks, and everything else is completely irrelevant just because a player built incorrectly. Good or bad, it’s subjective. Complexity on top of complexity is a bad thing if you ask me.

Counter builds are just regular RPG mechanics. RPG players understand the difference between fire resist and shadow resist just as League players understand the difference between armor and magic resist. Yes there are more dynamic items that help, but really… Counter builds falls right under item builds. They pretty much go hand in hand under ‘stereotypical RPG mechanics’.

Skill Shots make me shake my head. MOBA players honestly have no idea what a skill shot is. I land at least 80% of my ‘skill shots’ in League games. The 20% come from rapidly clicking 24/7.

Denying is… In Dota 2? I have nothing against Dota 2. It’s League with its overwhelming fanbase and unbelievable elitism that drives me up the wall.

I’m sorry guys, League just isn’t that hard of a game to pick up. Maybe if you have no previous experience in games, sure. But if you’ve played other games, it’s pretty straight forward after you hit level 15.

Out of all the genres of games I’ve played, I’d have to say MOBAs are the easiest. And I can’t remember who said it, but MOBA is generally taken as a game like Dota or League.

Also lol at Skill shots. I think it was Dotsdfe cracking on how I was better than a certain other player when I was landing all my Sona ults to secure kills. Skill shots are really not hard.

I am personally not a fan of Last Shotting. I feel it causes a rift with players.

If anything there is ONE thing I feel is needed in MOBAs is communication. I just had a game with some guys that were learning Xezhar and Ahri for the first tiime. I know how to use Ahri so I gave him build advice, when one guy lagged out I communicated, people actually listened ( i blame my blue ribbon) and we saved the round.

lol is actually character related. Basically I was watching UNIB’s Seth and I really loved the character, so I was wondering if there’s someone similar in Melty, as in, great mobility + multiple mixups and oki.

Lol I corrected myself on stream. He has a cool character model and shit but I just dont like him. TBH, he was one of the first characters I tried when I picked up CS (after playing a bit of Ragna and Rachael).

Yeah these past two weeks or so is why I decided to stop giving away/deleting my FGs that I dont play. Never know when someone might ask me to play P4A or want to stream AH3, etc.
