The memory leaks should be gone, memory usage is better overall as well. Memory Fox helps with this even more.
Not sure how FF release holds up to Chrome these days to be honest in terms of speed. Should be roughly the same thing but I know that FF17 had some significant speed boosts. FF18 will bring a 25% increase in performance apparently.
As far as UI customization goes, it’s better than Chrome for sure. Chrome doesn’t let you touch certain parts of the UI so you can’t do some cool things.
