Exactly. It’s what most comic readers call bad writing. It happens from time to time. Most fans identify it, rage about it, and then move on. Thankfully Jeph Loeb (the guy who wrote that incident) has stopped writing Red Hulk and Jeff Parker (the guy who came in and wrote that round two come back) jumped on the book and did his best to explain/repair most of the damage caused by Loeb. He’s actually made Red Hulk a pretty cool character.

Jeph Loeb? Damn, man. Stick to batman/non-superhuman characters. As for red hulk, he’s redundant. The whole idea with Ross is that he wants to take down the Hulk despite being a mortal man with conventional weapons. A little Red Hulk spree is okay, but he’s been wearing the red skin for far too long now. Dude was in AvX and Hulk allowed his soul when Captain America came for help. That’s that shit I don’t like
