UMvC3 OTT : Where the hell is Piers!

Nngghh, commercials! Why?

That’s actually a pretty good idea. If he did his own little thoughts/predictions/recaps for majors that could get a healthy amount of discussion out of his fanbase and encourage people to go.

It only bugs me when it gets personal, especially when you don’t know the other person too well. Otherwise I don’t mind it even though I don’t shit talk in my local scene.

He usually discusses big majors in his Online Warrior series after the event is over with.

Wide open for dat.

Aw damnit >__>… could’ve sworn you had a PS3. Kinda funny seeing someone mains Psylocke as opposed to just spamming her assist, I actually do the same thing to Tron in that I play her on point too.

Marvel 2’s learning curve is something pretty weird, it’s not really that hard but not easy either. Maybe you’re not that good because of that or because Psylocke’s got weird moves in that game, her playstyle seems pretty awkward.

They’ll shutup after I body them.

As long as it doesn’t get personal. Keep it about the game.

As long as its all in good sport idgaf. If its personal, I’ll slap the shit out of them with my stick.

[details=Spoiler]and I’m not talking about my arcade stick

i love shit talk cuz it brings out da hype!

Just plain ignorance. Nothing can be gained from this.

Old view: Dem’s niggas.

New view: Dem’s niggas.

I’m only half joking.

Nothing more amusing than watching to brick heads go at it.

I’d argue that shit talking can make people hungrier to win.

yeah LOL

No need for it.

Body the other guy and move on to the next round.

Ok good, shows how much I watch Max’s videos lol.

Bring it on. If it’s personal and unrelated to the game, shut the fuck up.

Eh, I just don’t see no true reason for unnecessary bull. It only make matters worse in the end.

I mean, it can be used to get a psychological advantage if you can get in their head or throw them off.

Or backfire if they do better under those conditions.

Pretty bad… basically everyone said what I think towards shit talk too. Depends on the shit talk, some I can plain ignore but when it’s personal it’s just bad.

I don’t even know why some people get that far, you won’t earn anything from that anyway.

Shit talk bothers me. On one hand, I’m thankful that the FGC has a high level of energy around it that stimulates competition. But on the other hand, a real competitor lets their actions speak for them. If it’s a matter of mental warfare, then they’re missing the point of the competition - save the mindgames for when the actual match starts.

I find it hard to respect someone who feels like they have to shout at me how badly they will body me, rather than trying to straight-up body me.
