Oh, nice - it’s good to see originals. Not much happening my end right now but a busy week scheduled. Yourself?
The hate on Max is something serious lool. I don’t get it tbh.
Hurry up AFV! Go off. I need my story book!
I don’t hate the guy. It’s just the “only upload stuff where you win even if you got bodied 20-1’d” has always annoyed me. There’s someone in here that does it too but I digress.
I remember I played Max when I still played Zero/Dante/Vergil and beat him once, then he left every other room I joined him in after that, lol.
pokemon tcg online is pretty cool.
all the fun and coin flips and bullshit momentum-based steamrolling, with none of the hassle and cost of buying all those damn cards. it’s a shame the only way to really unlock cards is buy buying the actual cards then putting in a code or something, otherwise you get like 1 card for playing a game. and of course everybody who plays the game plays it for real too so they have all the good cards…
but still pretty fun. i’m surprised i still remember all the rules and flow the of the game and whatnot, it’s been like 10 years since i last played. i wonder whatever happened to all my cards. i feel bad for my parents, so much wasted money lol
reading that back sounds weird. i think it’s all the uses of the word card.
I only hate him for that “Follow games not consoles” bullshit. The fuck Ima buy a $300 console for one game for. I didnt buy a 360 for DOA4 and look what happened.
The problem with Max, is that while what he wants to do is at heart something by introducing people to fighting games. The problem is that while he guides them to the starting point, he never goes beyond said point leaving them there.
So what you get are a bunch of sheep that are aware of the community, may ‘watch’ it but don’t go out of their way to learning the games and appreciating for what they are, and just complain about Wesker, saying Zero is hard and DA FINGER LAZERS XD.
zero is hard.
It’s not wasted if you had fun with it.
I’m harder.
Dang, Lil’ Red is so fine.
Thanks man. Pretty much the same happening here as it is there for you, nothing. Just trying to enjoy my weekend before it’s off to work again tomorrow.
In all seriousness, I think a lot of people’s salt with him here is (besides exploiting the flaws of MvC3 online to their fullest) that he has good prediction. Granted, I was playing like an idiot and he abused that fact by throwing out the same moves, but he made a lot of nice reads when I played him. This is in a game with far superior netcode, though. I didn’t lag too much against him, just my inputs were a bit off, it felt like.
I learned that I play too recklessly, something Marvel 3 rewards when played optimally. My defense is also abysmal. I think if I got more matchup experience and learned to block each character’s mixups, as well as not play so reactively and more actively, I’d get over whatever’s holding me back.
I also need to get over nerves. Too often I’ll have my opponent at less than 25% health with a massive life lead, only to lose it all because I can’t get past their runaway. I choked twice in my first match in the tourney and could easily have taken them, too. Rikir plain outplayed me, though
posting all those pics got me tired lol
Rumpy so tight.
I’m quite tired too.
If you catch my drift winks.
Yeah seeing the way he plays these 2 games just makes me sad… sometimes I like to think he’s doing bad because of online but then his opponents just do stuff that blow him up.
By the way Shadow, do you play both Marvel 3 and 2? Cuz when I get a my PS3 I think we should do some matches. Who do you main in UMvC3/MvC2?
true. looking back on it now i’d consider it a waste, but when you’re a kid then whatever you’re having fun with at the moment becomes the greatest thing in the world.
it’d be nice if i found a box or something that had all my old cards. but instead of cards they turned into money. preferably what they were worth at their peak.
I hear you, that Xuses guy is the greatest example.
Well that’s a disagreement with his statement. Do you really hate him just for that? I don’t believe in that either but it depends on the circumstances. In the case of Bayonetta 2 that’s not something I can agree with at all. I’m not buying WiiU just for that game when I don’t want a Wii in the first place. But say if the next big three comes out, I’m going with the console which has the most games I’m interested in, so that in itself is following games and not console. Although I do have some favoritism towards Playstation since that’s been my shit from day 1.
That’s the people’s fault and not his. If you’re really interested in this shit you will go past the checkpoint that Max brought you to and get involved. I’m only here because I heard SF4 was coming out, did some research, found out there was a whole community and wanted to be a part of it.
fuck man its cold as fuck in this house and its weird playing FG’s with cold hands.
