Pawn’s crossup, as already mentioned, is beyond situational. The threat of it does add to its amazing ability to control space though.

Bishop backed by Knight assist is actually extremely potent, and beats King for free, but the method is just so executionally-heavy that even the majority of Bishop-Knight users can’t get it down perfectly. Besides, Rook with King assist is just so much stronger with the way he can put walls up and slowly eliminate the stage until it’s all gone. Rook is OP.

King’s reverse teleport move is pretty tricky though. Nobody seems to use it but the army of pawns created is damn near unstoppable since they aren’t needed for defense. All King users seem to want to do is a traditional teleport and move a corner pawn so they can just hold up-back whenever they’re in trouble. That’s why you need Bishop assist when trying to take out a King who set that trickery up.

Tell me about it I think it’s Yukiko’s second worst match up next to S.Labrys. Agis has ways past my zoning, great mobility so it’s hard keeping her out, Mix ups I didn’t even know about I barely won that one game.

My Yu is rather sluggish lately, and getting defeated quite often by other well-rounded Yu players makes me jealous and/or salty. Maybe I need to switch back to my original main, for the time being.
