I think if people would stop being stupid and think their teams through, they would realize low damage is not that big of a deal. Firebrand is so damn good, but people are too incredulous to look past his “low damage.” I didn’t even think that combo through. Like I said, it took me like 10 minutes to put together, and it works off other hit confirms.

People…think? Do work? What are you talking about? Most just want someone to hand them tech that they can use. If the tech isn’t there, they don’t bother to look any deeper.

Chess isn’t that broken, although it sucks you get a limited number of pawns. If I wanted to have limited assist calls, I’d play Marvel 1 for christ’s sake!

Terrible match-up.

Being a Knight main, I can safely say that the Rook has some tools to stay annoying to the Knight. ALWAYS stay in his face where he can’t attack you. Remember, his comfort zone is at midboard where he can land his teleport mixups on you, so closing the gap prevents him from taking your Rook.

I still don’t see how you’re complaining about the Rook’s bad matchups though, he has the best out of everyone but the Queen. Rook Staircase is HELLA broken though, once you set the rooks up on one edge the match is basically over. Unblockables like that are WAY too cheap.

Pawns are complete and utter shit, but they can be used to barricade enemy units in and can become the most powerful piece in the game if they make it to the other side of the board without dying.

Start as shit, have a barrier skill, and if you work your ass off and survive against all odds, become the best piece in the game. Pawns are Phoenix Wright.

Yeah, but the installs require HUGE meter cost and essentially need you to build an entire strategy around the escort. It’s like if Pheonix wasn’t allowed to activate XFactor. Besides, the crossup is BEYOND situational and has ass range anyways.

This is almost as amazing as our tierings of Disney Villains.

castleing teleport ain’t worth it most times.

i like sacrifice my queen to kill theirs. makes for an honest game.

en passe cross up is slept on. pawns are fine so long as you protect them with Bishops and or Rooks. i believe this is why White has the advantage. many of my wins involved pawns bishops and knights. unless the Queen did all the work before sacrificing her in a trade. people used to rely on her too much.

i remember me and a close friend had a match that went for a good couple hours. lots of thought, conceding, and stuff.

i used to have a book on Gary Kasparov. Chess is a wonderful game.
