Detroit is a pretty big drive, and November is too soon, so no Youmacon for me.
Maybe next year, though. Looks pretty good as far as cons go. Largest con I’ve been to is AWA, though. (Or Animazement, they’re pretty similar in scale.) Still need to go to Dragoncon eventually.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get how BlazBlue is slow at all? Really the only one that felt like they moved slow was CT.

Character’s are very floaty and there is TONNNNNS of hitstop. Moves are pretty average length (although Arakune’s over 20 (?) frame overhead is pretty slow by ArcSys standards).
Air dashes are also a lot slower than Guilty Gear ones in general.
The game isn’t really slow, it just feels like it after playing GG I guess haha.
Also the pacing is definitely slower because of the ridiculous long blockstrings (not that GG didn’t have that I guess) and combos.

It’s not really slow per-say. But it is predominantly a defensively oriented game, which is a big contrast to GG.
It’s a combination of alot of stuff, but the general pace of a match isn’t as brutal as GG, it’s alot more controlled.

Its online… You’ll always be tripping. Both players need T1-T3 connection minimum to have a “normal” match. 
Hmmm, I just finished most of my paper and I might start setting up to superplay/speedrun Megaman X. I might be playing other random videos and I might stream Digimon Digital Card battle for the PSX as well. I’ll post here again when I’m live.
