So I heard there’s a lot of money selling yugioh cards. My friend did it over the summer, buying card packs by the box and then selling all the rare cards he got. He said it was like playing a lottery with very good odds. Might try it out sometime.

Yo it really is. I played back in high school more so for the money. I mean, its a love/hate relationship with Yu-Gi-Oh cards. You can get tired of it one day and then the next day you might just want to have some duels here and there.
I used to go to the locals for tournaments and just always win shit. Win cards, store credit and just trade them and sale them with people. I was getting a couple of hundred bucks every weekend which was hella straight. This was during high school so I had a ton of money I could use during those times. That Yu-Gi-Oh hustle mentality. There was a couple of younger kids too so you could hustle them pretty easily. I did try to keep it fair for them though since they’re just kids. I’m not that mean.

Oh yeah @WildGamer you really gotta watch out from buying online though. Some places like to weigh boxes and boosters before they sale them to you. The reason why is because holographic/rare cards weigh different from your standard Yu-Gi-Oh card. Because of this, they know the regular weight for a box and they’ll keep the heavier booster boxes for themselves and open them up for the rare cards so that you don’t get those cards. Not everywhere does this but its actually a real thing people do. This is done at some locals as well so you got to watch out for that shit. This shit is like drug dealing status lol. I’ve been in the business for a couple of years so I know this shit does actually happen so just make sure you watch yourself when purchasing cards.
