I think the worst situation i got with one of my parents was getting a phone mighty thrown on to my face.
Otherwise, i wouldn’t allow their filthy asses to lay a finger on me. We’d usually just fight verbally, nothing physical since their points were usually moot, or stupid. So no need to get physical.
Though i think my mom was going to hit on me with a broom once, not sure n that.
it was (or still is? idk) acceptable for teachers to beat students in korea. my uncle was whupped with a tennis racket until the racket broke by the handle.
and either him or his friend, i forgot who was telling me, was hit by a pool cue until it broke. i don’t think that one was at school, why would a school have such a thing.
my punishment was usually ‘no videogames.’ silly parents, leaving me with all these books in my room. and a gameboy.
later it became ‘write a multi-page essay on what you did wrong and why you did it and how to correct it.’ because writing 6 pages over accidentally leaving my lunchbox at school over the weekend was totally reasonable. still, better than getting hit i suppose.
Well uhh… Sometimes my babushka screamed at me in Russian…? And that kinda scared me as a kid. Haha. It still happens to me. But now when she starts doing that I just laugh. XD Russians just sounds evil sometimes.
Took the beating every fucking time because my parents were grimey with giving me back my stuff. For a large part of 98 - 99 I didn’t have a N64 to play because of that.
