I can’t get any good competition offline due to no scene being close by (not 2 hours worth of driving away) so I play people I have moderately good/great connections with or people who I’m friends with (although if their connection is ass enough I won’t play).
You complained on Skype about there being no scene in your area too and yada yada (dunno if that’s changed recently or not). When I asked if you’d like to try playing against me online for fun, you said that your BF kills your internet with his Starcraft 2 addiction (least it wasn’t League of Legends #kappa).
And yet you still play SSBB online, which has even assier netcode than Marvel…HMMMMM…I know when I’m being avoided.
Mind if I add you on XBL? I desperately need experience against Viper players. I feel like she’s one of the few characters I’m actually free to.
BTW I ran into JetpackJesus once in ranked, got bopped by Sentinel assist and Magneto, and then another day, when I ran into him in ranked, he wouldn’t play me.

I just noticed i have no reliable corner to corner with Dante/Vergil without using wallbounce/groundbounce.

Ah, well, that’s easy for a few of them. You probably want to make level 1s just a damage upgrade and not start adding stuff like knockdown or invincibility until level 2. His damage scaling will probably have to be stupid low like Dante or Strider, though, otherwise he could be doing solo meterless TODs.
- High time should get invincibility on start up at least. Maybe the level 2 could get soft knockdown while level 3 gets hard knockdown. That’d more be for combo extension stuff.
- His forward rush move should go through projectiles starting at maybe level 2 (he’s surrounded by flames, why not?).
- His Helm Breaker…I’m not sure about level 2, but I know level 3 should likely OTG (might be his only one, since it doesn’t really make sense for his other stuff). It’s a stab, so it makes sense in that regard.
I can’t remember his other moves by heart.
I only play brawl with people I know or people who ask. @_@
I have found an offline scene, and I met them when I went to seasons beatings. So yes that has changed lol.
I honestly don’t enjoy marvel online because it feels like a different game, I’ve told everyone this. I hate brawl online just as much but I’ll play if certain people want me too because I’m used to the lag in that game more than I am used to the lag in marvel. Because I forced myself to play a bit of brawl online about a year ago. I don’t understand why you are being rude to me, I’m not trying to avoid you, I just detest marvel online because I’m not used to it and I don’t feel like I learn anything from it.

Go ahead, I have no reservations about being added, just as long as you let me know who you are. Also, my Vipuh is far from good. I’ll play because I need more matchup experience and games under my belt in general, but I might be a bad person to try and learn the matchup from.
Actually, that’s smart tech. Scumbag tech is dying intentionally when you’re really far behind and feeding on the checkpoint they should have never set.

Suit yourself, but I play online Marvel for fun (and it does help with learning matchups), not so much competitively.
Play to have fun, not to win, that’s what I do when I play online.
By the way, (you’re not the only one I’m telling this) I also detest having people on my Friend list who I never play or talk to, so if it fills up, then don’t be offended if you get removed. :V
