I don’t think you really can. Sure you could go to training and test out spacing/block strings with a recorded dummy, but other then that I think playing is really the only way to improve it. Playing people teaches you new things that other people will do since they can be a bit unpredictable. It kinda sucks since the neutral game is the most important part of playing.

On the other hand, the latest pages of this OTT had me laughing a lot, lol you guys are dabes.
Set the training dummy to an AI and remove recoverable health on both parties. It teaches you hit confirms(since AI blocking is completely random) + they’ll be a slightly moving opponent so you get to do more stuff, basic zoning, and basic options at certain ranges, it makes learning incoming setups and hitconfirming off them easier too. Nothing beats playing another player, but putting up an AI for practice is useful and can teach you stuff for certain mus, ie learning how to snipe hidden missiles assist, or simply movement by putting your opponent as Iron Fist/Akuma and making your goal being completely untouchable.
