Anyway, YouTube is garbage at encoding videos so encoding your videos in some absurd resolution like 2000-4000p over 1080p at some high bitrate is what’ll get videos to look ‘decent’ in 360, and pretty much like the original in 1080. Small amounts of blur for whatever reason help YouTube smooth the video out and making it look better. Which is fucking retarded.

For HD videos…i believe so. It’s been awhile since i checked into how YouTube encoded stuff. If the raw file looks good and you encode it out in a high bitrate it should look good after conversion
