That’s my point, there used to be alot more to it than just “to bait or not to bait”.

It’s just like 2B AA’s. Traditionally, AA’s are on 6A (or 6+whatever button). This means that there is a directional input that can be crossed up. This adds another set of options and another dimension to the spacing game. By mapping AA’s to 2X it removes this.

Alot of P4’s design is geared towards making the game very linear.

Yeah, I kinda wish I had some of the later stuff, like this really sweet gif I made. Unfortunately that was on a flash drive that got stolen. :shake: The character wasn’t outright terrible looking back on it (might’ve used a different name), but it’s just one of those silly things you laugh at when you get older.
