No Dudley just sucks. Wish people would stop citing the exceptions over the rules. Most predictions on who sucks in games is usually correct.

I remember when people were saying Seth is the worst character in the game. Some people think your damage output or health level makes a character when there’s a lot more to it. Dudley does good damage and he isn’t top tier. Seth has terrible health and he’s considered one of the best (if not the best).

Reminds me of early Vanilla Marvel when I was just a casual observer. “Why is no one playing Phoenix?” I said.

Mind you, at that point, I had like no experience with seeing BS in fighters and needed something new post Brawl (that scene died so fast man…).

Right, that’s why Shadow said there is a lot more to a character than health and damage. Also, Dudley isn’t that bad. He doesn’t have any match-ups that are on par with Cammy vs Honda in ST or Chun-li vs Oro.

I main Dudley in SSF4. his worst match-ups are 4-6. Juri isn’t too bad for Dudley to deal with. Bison, Honda, Guile, Fei and Zangief are the hardest match-ups for him, in my opinion, but on the flip side, he doesn’t have many favorable match-ups either, and that’s why he’s rated so low. His match-up character is for the most part is 5-5s and 4-6s.

I used to be a pad player, but I more or less made myself learn stick. It really is an investment; no more running through multiple pads, and I can play on any system.

Thats why I wanna learn it mostly (plus the fact that it has MarlinPie’s signature on it) but damn I dont feel like investing time into it.

So with everyone playin’ Persona everywhere now, I got to thinkin’ about anime fighters in general. I think I finally get what people mean when they talk about ‘em now. So anyway, I got to thinkin’ from there that Boondocks needs to be an anime fighter. Replace all the high pitched screaming commentator girls with Stinkmeiner or Ruckus, have people like Riley goin’ all Aigis by pullin’ out uzis an’ fillin’ the screen with projectiles an’ junk. Bushido Brown bein’ the in yo face, mash buttons to win, no fear of nothin’ character. Huey bein’ the main anime character that’s solid all around, but still has a good share of derp to be new player friendly, and we’d have somethin’ for real. I’d drop all my games to support and master that one. Might even drop school too.

Aigis is cuter as far as robot girls in this game.

its easy… just dont switch back to pad once you start. Slow your inputs down for a while as you get used to it. then you good.

DAMN that RX vid was hot. I’m always impressed by how Aegis Reflector was intended to be a anti projectile move… and then players turned it into a nasty offensive tool
