According JDCR, Tag 2 is essentially the Marvel 3 of Tekken franchise. Tag assault damage + netsu boost = random. Even while they nerfed hopkicks and buffed movement, which should encourage strong fundamental play, the crush system is still in place coupled with the very high damage which means you can easily steal rounds off a guess or two.

Either way, BR was balanced and TTTU2 looks balanced. Mishimas being strong can’t be a bad thing, they’re whiff punish+movement chars that encourage good basics and great execution. Even when they were flowchart top tier in vanilla Tag it just meant the meta-game boiled down to a simple set of fundamentals.

I think with SCV-style netcode, the game’s shelf life will be exponentially increased for those playing at home. I know myself and a myriad of friends just stopped online play after the supposed “T6 patch” that claimed to fix everything didn’t.

Oh, nah it’s not against jamal. It’s against Adventus. He’s like the 7th rank XBL player and plays Yosuke/Liz. Since jamal is having issues playing as Yosuke I’ll upload my games vs. this guy so he can see how [S]annoying Yosuke is for Mitsuru[/S] to play Yosuke properly. I held my own but it was still a body montage more or less. He wasn’t even using Burst. >_>

And yeah, to an extent. But there’s no Vergil-Tron spectrum. Even Yoshimitsu has a more-than-decent mixup game and viability.

Steve’s one of the most used characters in Tekken 6… And it looks like he’s top tier too. Reminds me of Vergil.

I don’t see many Zafina’s either. Oh, and Zafina’s bottom tier, just like Tron.
