Depends which game you like better. MvCO’s netcode will probably be top tier (it’s GGPO and a step up from the mistakes made in 3SO), but supposedly Arcsys is good with netcode too.

Get both.

Play MvCO, play GWM/Strider/Wolverine and do two button infinites and get salty hate mail till the scrubs leave and then you get the good competition

Play GG, get frustrated that you can’t do shit and mash DP with Sol.

Proceed to insert UMVC disc and pick Vergil once you’re done.
But yeah, just buy both. If not wait for GG since it’s getting the +R update and it’s a essentially a new game.
