When did the front page start posting tech more often? This is sick.

Going random with the directions doesn’t really help since you can easily randomly land on what they were thinking. They can also just randomly choose and pick the right one also.

TAC trick or j.S resets are the only actual strategic things you can do to improve odds.

Well, other than reading your opponent…

Well that’s as long as they’re not going random on the stick. No way to read that.

True, but that’s rarely viable, imo.

Most of the time, if for example you’re taking a down a character essential to your opponent’s team composition or in need of meter or whatever, you can’t afford to be random like that as the risk is too high.

Even if you have infinites, getting countered and losing your momentum, meter opportunities and the chance to take down an enemy character is a pretty big penalty for being random on TAC directions.

Why it’s the same odds. They’re just TACing to kill off awkward confirms if they’re doing it correctly getting or gaining meter is whatever.

Which why it bugs me to no fucking end when people without 10-5 years of experience can say that 3/4 of the cast is useless.

VDO/Mike Z team is more viable in Marvel 3 at this point than MVC2’s later years.

If you have a team that benefits hugely from meter, can’t afford the opponent to have lots of meter, or can’t afford to lose momentum, it’s not the same odds.

For example, if you’re running a vergil team with 0 meter, in a losing position and with 15 seconds left on the timer, down TAC might be your best bet for getting stuff done - even if the opponent guesses down, they know an up or side TAC doesn’t help you and they can act accordingly.

Factoring in all of the benefits to the other player of specific TAC directions (current meter of each player, life of character being TACed, etc), and how much they can afford to lose their combo makes a big difference in predicting TAC directions.

So, cinnamon can kill you. Nice.

Pick whoever you want just don’t whine when you get bopped by a good character/team. You knew what you were getting into.

Bloodabeast: The Spoiler That Never Should.
Never forget.

TACs are weird to counter because they can either just go random or actually choose a specific direction that benefits them. For me though, in the corner, I random TAC to Dante or just do a side one because most people think “Well if he hits side he’s knocking me out the corner so he wont do that” (I can put you back in the corner though, no worries;) ) and for Dorm I just go random and react with correct Dark Hole x2 combo

Yeah, I love that whole “nobody expects side TACs in the corner” nonsense

Also, that new AV of yours is amusing
