Another reason I personally would consider, is that the Legends series is not as expanded as the other Megaman series.
Like, Megaman Classic and Megaman X’s got series numbered from 1 through 10 (except the X series in which has 8 games), MML only has 2 games (3 if you count Tron Bonne’s Misadventures) so it’s another factor to be considered, I mean if it was another MM series instead I don’t think it would make that much of a difference, because granted there’s too many games already. MML got the worst cancellation ever with this in mind.
I’m even sure how they would “fix” things from now on, the damage is already done though UMvC3 coming soon was a good thing imho because Vanilla had problems bugging the crap outta me.
