So yeah, he talked about MML3 before, and even a game called SF4 Flashback but the game had only reached the suggestion stages so there’s no gameplay just concept art. The main reason the MML3 cancellation was a big deal is due to the fact that Capcom actually had fans interactively working on it, myself included. When you combine that with the fact that the sequel was long-awaited, it pretty much comes off as a huge slap in the face to the fans. Of course, on the other side of the Capcom fence you’ve got stuff like SFxT DLC, or UMvC3 coming out not even a year after the original. Capcom’s reputation is pretty screwed up at the moment.
The thing about EA and Activision is that people are still eating up their games regardless. Casuals love that Madden and COD.
