They essentially made him “Young Heihachi” for the reasons X stated.

Azproc, the Tekken Tag series doesn’t have a storyline. Tekken 1-6 has storylines for every character as well as a main storyline of events, I guess.

Yeah it’s the KOF 98/2002 of the Tekken games. Dream match type stuff. There was a bit of a story revolving around the boss of Tekken Tag 1 but that’s about it.

Tekken Tag 2 actually does have a storyline that follows after Tekken 6…but it’s not canon and won’t affect the storyline of T7.
