I’m starting to think the reason they changed the forums is to make it more like the Marvel 3 online experience.
So now it’s confusing as fuck, all logic is completely absent and you have to resort to mashing shit to make anything work at all.

Yeah that’s what I was trying to get at. Quotes no longer qualify as an alert. Which is stupid since those were the only alerts I generally cared for. I don’t care for when another person posts in a thread that updates every 4 minutes.
Only mentions count as alerts now as far as directly notifying you that someone responded to something you were saying or generally wants to say something to you.
Likes/dislikes/disagrees/off topic and flag icons don’t/no longer count as alerts either. Which was probably the only other alert I half cared about.
Everything else is typical “someone just posted in a thread you watch or a thread you created” type shit.
I remember following Brawl in the Family back in 08 or 09. They were some good times.

This is pretty clearly a work in progress, as you can tell by looking for the MvC2 subforum. The TTT2 forum owns most of the old MvC2 character subforums, for example. XD
It’ll be interesting to see where things stand a week from now. Or how quickly things bump back into shape. :\

I don’t do the forums…I mainly only read the comics. A lot of his old ones were better, but some of his new ones, like the Luigi one he did for Christmas have been hilarious.

I just wish the old alerts would work. Having to eyeball quotes and not just getting notifications that you can choose to look or not look at whenever is just the pits.
I guess people will get around to doing the tweet shit eventually…but it’s not really the same.
