I think he does pretty well actually, Vajra certainly helps though. Zero can’t compete with Dante on the ground unless he’s at point blank because of Stinger being top tier, so he pretty much has to approach at normal jump height. At super jump height the Jam Session + Vajra thing kills him pretty easily.
Crystal will nullify buster (with 3 points of durability left over, woo) and generally stop his normal jump height approach, somehow Hysteric will actually beat air Buster and still have 2/3/4 missiles left, but I have no idea why. j.M > Zero’s horizonal range in the air. My only problem is how sometimes I go to AA with s.M and get hit by j.H when I feel like I shouldn’t.
Mei was by far my favorite girl to come onscreen late in the series. Who doesn’t love seeing Youhei getting the crap kicked out of him for like 30 times in one episode 
I just hate the Dante-Zero matchup in particular just because of the Theory to Actuality ratio on it. Dante can fight Ultimate Zero, but it’s a long and arduous zoning game most of the time that can get completely undone with one cross up attack from the Zero. The work required for it to be an even match up on the Dante’s side is insane, especially if the Zero downloads and starts putting up his walls of active frames near your toes to fuck you over with on start up.
The worst is getting hit with a cross up Sentsuizan when you know you had good spacing for a Carats anti air or definitely dashed out of the way only to get clipped with his ponytail for a full combo.
Yeah I was considering picking Vajra for the Zero matchup while I was fighting Tayson. Unibeam doesn’t do as much against Zero as it does other characters.
You shouldn’t even bother trying to anti-air that character most of the time. The risk is not really worth it.
Phoenix Wright needs to be good.
