So Windows XP was supposed to be an OS with layers and layers of legacy bullshit thatâs not being used but still there (though it already is anyway, just not as severe as it is now)? Thatâs pretty much what the whole Windows NT line of operating systems is in a nutshell.

I would recommend highly recommend Macs for work/creative things. They work much better than PCs for artwork, photo editing and the like. Iâve used mine for about 6 years and it has still held up great.

Yeah, really planning on investing in one. When I went to SAIC after NYU for ~2 semesters my plan included a Mac w/PS+FCP along with any software I mightâve needed. Too bad I had to give it back.
Right now Iâm only packing my regular crap Windows Vista Desktop along with my Dell laptop (which isnât too bad). Problem is that stuff like FCP is extremely expensive, so the $300 deal is looking mighty fine.
