nice, its a very good team, i’ve always been fond of cap/unibeam. just not iron man. i think sentinel is better for cap but that’d prob be asking too much for you to learn iron man and sentinel. I should learn TAC combos, i’m way too lazy. I’ve only done nova’s so far and i know 0 doom ones which is bad.
solo doom is better than solo iron man anyways. i agree completely with that placement. if you really need the safe dhc though you could put doom second but idk i think the teams stronger overall the way it is.
yes depending on the situation it can be much better than his other supers and other options. His normal stars and stripes special also has some invincibility, but the way it works is that Stars and stripes the super is invincible (just like any other invincible super aka bionic arm, gamma crush etc.). Hyper Charging star, while not with invincible startup, it has projectile invincibility meaning any projectile you throw at cap will not hurt him. even super projectiles
the downside to stars and stripes is that it does much less damage than HCS so if you can punish with HCS do it.
yeah he does do a decent amoun but past a certain range of health/damage he can’t really touch that many people. unless you have assists, with missiles for example you can kill almost anything

Yeah, where the hitbox and hurtbox of the move are seperated (disjointed, if you will). Those moves are gay when they’re taken to extremes (i.e. Vergil’s sH and Sentinel’s air moves) without giving some sort of extreme drawback to compensate (i.e. Sentinel/Dhalsim’s ludicrous liablilties at point blank).
When the hitbox doesn’t reach obscene distances from the limb’s hurtbox, it’s A-ok. Such as Zero’s sword normals or Mr. Game & Watch’s everything-besides-dSmash (I know, it’s Brawl, but it’s a good example nonetheless).
