Fullscreen normals are overrated. The REAL bullshit is in sword normals, where the hitbox/hurtbox ratio is so skewed that you never get a trade. You just beat their move straight out. The only time it’s balanced is when you can’t convert off of it, such as Skrull’s zoom-punches and Ammy’s beads, in which case it’s just a poke and/or a “stop that” button.
Yu has the worst normals in the game bar-none.
Naoto who?
Yeah her DP is pretty not safe and slow but it does a lot of damage and she can combo off of it on CH so it’s dangerous in my opinion and her fastest air normal is which has a 9 frame start up and can cancel into J.B and J.A is pretty fast so that solves her slow air normal problem. but even if J.B has a pretty slow start up it’ still considered pretty fast for a air normal and the hitbox makes it pretty hard to a lot of characters to anti air it (Yukiko, Akikiho, Naoto,) but she also has a follow up from J.B which is JBB which is ok I guess.
I think people underrate Labrys a lot I think she is good

Moves like the ones you listed are just hitboxes that are far out from the character that is doing the move’s hitbox.
