I don’t entirely disagree but isn’t conversions pretty much a part of neutral as well? Or at least the transition from neutral into a kill which is of comparable importance. I think the actual problem with Dante is that he requires you to play a lot more patient and smart in order to have him be effective, thus a “derp” character will generally have more time to set up their derp in response. I agree he’s #7 though.
