UMvC3 OTT: F*** online

Oh, then go ahead buddy. I won’t stream if you want to. I’ll just keep studying and stream way later then.

They really need to change “An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later” to “An expected database error occurred. Please try again later”…

Oh shit, you’re at that intro stage!

I really enjoyed Hold Your Colour and even a bit of In Silico from Pendulum (even though the rest of it was pretty ass), HYC is a *true *DNB Classic album. Their last album was more Electronic Rock and got a bit dubsteppy, but I enjoyed a majority of it (The Fountain being my favorite on the album). Even DJ Fresh’s remix of HYOC was pretty upbeat and good too.

Nu: Tone is pretty choice too, I really enjoyed BNW and especially 7 years. Check out Makoto+Deezim’s Release the Bird EP; it features a lot of the subtitles of Nu: Tone’s work. At one point they even collaborated together IIRC.

Definitely check out Netsky, and Danny Byrd. They’re both on the same label as Nu:tone was (Hospital, IIRC?) and Netsky is one of the better known DNB/LF artists. Netsky’s definitely improved over the years. Netsky’s earlier tracks, while featuring a solid melody featured little to no progression. Now, if you check out his newer stuff, you’re going to see alot of progression. That being said, early Netsky wasn’t bad at all and The Lotus Symphony remains one of my favorite DNB songs of all time.
Danny Byrd on the other hand is a bit more electronic based. Byrd’s works are really fun things to listen to. He’s a bit more dance oriented though.

The Phoneheads, I really enjoyed too, and they brought me to DJ Friction, but honestly, there’s no one who really has the Phonehead style down.

Since you seem to be a fan of Jazz as well, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND YOU CHECK OUT LONDON ELECTRICITY. London Electricity was one of the the pioneers of the DnB movement and incorporates many of jazz elements within his work. **Every single god damn album this man has put out has been a DnB masterpiece. **

It’s not everyday you find someone with a pretty similar musical taste of your own, who happens to be at the same spot you were not too long ago

They also need to change “Chrono Phantasma” to something less stupid so people other than me won’t get baited into making that mistake ever again.

It’s okay maz, we all know you’d only ever download Dr. Strange Swag Porn anyway

You said Pendulum. You have my respect :Dv

Maz probably faps and spoons his ass to baby Dr.S pictures now that i think about it.

Im not gonna be home for a lil bit cause, lol work

considering the last BlazBlue had SEX in the abbreviation I don’t think they care about CP in the title

Yeah Pendulum was Solid as hell.

Then In Silicio and Immersion came and they drastically changed their style. I have no problem with them changing their style, but In Silico just contained too many songs w/ weak lyrics, instrumentals and showed a lack of effort. Immersion on the other hand was a pretty good change, I liked the mix of Rock/Electronica, but some of the songs featured the same problem as In silico. Not a large supporter of wtf they’re doing now.

HYOC was the stuff though.

*Fuck it, I lied, this is Drum N’ Bass, What you gonna do? *

All good. I can stream another day anyways or way later. It’s just that since my time zones differ so much from the US that I don’t get to see certain people when I usually stream. Since I stream at my time like at 7pm or later, its basically everyone is still seeping in the US or they’re getting up to go to work kind of deal.

I-- well-- errrrr–

I don’t think i’ve ever been much of a fan of Pendulum despite having all their albums…

The Fountain is pretty damn sweet though.

Steven Wilson working on that song probably explains it

@HonzoGonzo just whip it out. helps if you play wit her a bit. ixnay on the honzo face.

thankfully my insurance covers my ems ride from a while back. work was bad today.

I’ve had girls at my LAN parties. Just sayin’.

They were playing WoW, though…

My taste in music are boring as fuck now that I think about it

stream it

I never really took the time to ask myself this. Should be fun.

Everything up to 7th or 8th grade was either Gospel music or random songs I’d hear from Scooby Doo and other cartoons.
8th Grade: I discovered AMVs. That got me looking into Linkin Park, Evanescence, Nickelback, and other such nonsense.
9th Grade: I turned on the radio and found out that they played that kinda music on what they called “rock stations.” So I messed with that for a while thinking I was cool.
10th Grade: They played this one song by All That Remains on that rock station and I got to wondering what other music like that was like. Then I delved into metalcore.
11th Grade: I wanted to learn more about this whole metal thing, so I went to the metal section of an old forum I used to go to (it was Gaia Online by the way), and got educated. Really got into Melodeath, and then somewhere down the line I ran into Jedi Mind Tricks, and that got me seriously looking at rap, because unbeknownst to me, rap wasn’t only just the stuff played on the radio. It was around this time that I realized that I can’t talk about the music I like with most people because most people don’t listen to my music anymore.
12th Grade: I sorta, I don’t know–grew out of the whole rock, screaming thing and looked at other metal subgenres that weren’t about being extreme. Think this was about the time I really got into Prog metal and Doom metal, while still listening to Death and Black and Melodeath.
College: I sorta just stayed there. I’m into metal, rap, and gospel now.
