Oh and I finally understand what all this “Is up” crap means, they’re talking about several NPCs that have bounties on their heads that reappear from time to time and random locations (within a general area). They say “is up” as in respawned.

VF is way more hype than SC or Tekken. The damage in that game being the way it is makes for much quicker and fun to watch matches.

I’m not sure what people see in Tekken over VF in terms of mechanics at high level. VF always made more sense to me even as a kid so it’s always been my favorite even with my weak ass Lau play in 3 games. I guess the movement is better in Tekken but to each his own.

The games play different enough where it’s easy to prefer one over another. I think the oki games in Tekken are more interesting, but the mind games and pressure just flow so fast in VF it’s really fun to both play and watch because of how quickly people can shift between offense and defense during the fight.

As a Soul Calibur player, I can say that SC is definitely more fun to play than it is to watch. Things can get hype yes, but not too often. Tekken I pretty much like for its “more to the core” of martial arts even though VF has the same. But these are aesthetic things, from a casual standpoint on Tekken anyways.
