Funny part is Triforce was on a MK podcast last night talking about this happening and why people like REO left. Basically vvv would take the credit for their wins saying “we made them champions” when vvv doesn’t do anything but cover travel cost at best.
Come to think of it, weren’t Mina’s and Talim’s parts available for CAS in 4? Probably just a copy pasta thing. Either way, I hope to see more “classic” costumes. I’m really missing Algol’s armor.
Since your team is Nemesis/Strider/Hawkeye, can’t you call Strider’s assist to help you out? Not gonna work every time but it helps a little bit. Nemesis can fire his Rocket Launcher at 45 degree angle while MODOK is flying around, there’s a chance he can mess up and you can hit him.
I’m still trying to find ways of knowing how to get around MODOK, the character has such awkward moves that it’s hard to understand them.
Also, for those who him, how did MODOK change from vanilla to this game? I don’t remember if he got buffed or not.
They don’t know how to block high/low mixups and aren’t too familiar with the push block mechanic. They don’t tech much in the air either. Still pretty fun to watch their tech and their stylish combos though.
I know MODOK’s matchup pretty well, and yeah the Stride assist helps allot. It prevents MODOK from doing his EVO 2012 Trolling. Nemesis’s Anti-Air rocket doesn’t reach that high either.
