Nah I’m just here again because 1) I finally had some free time and 2) someone mentioned Strange lol. I did try out Jill for a bit, but I needed something cheaper that wasn’t Zero or Vergil. Tried playing Viper again, then didn’t like her playstyle. I’ve always played around with the idea of Magneto/Strange in my head (mained him in Vanilla) but never actually got to it. Now that I have some dirty ass corner resets with Cold Star and I actually get one of the best point characters with a projectile assist that still lets me get busted damage off a teleport, I think I’m gonna stick with this team until Persona drops.

edit: Gotta say, Strange/Ammy is a pretty underrated team shell too. Best DHC and THC in the game, respectively. Bolts + Cold Star also functions more or less the same way Drones does both in corner and neutral.

The motion should like this…2369(look at your numberpad) you are still doing regular QCF but you are jump as well so the game performs a special move once you reach the height restriction limit the game allows to perform a special move. The key to do this is by holding upforward until you reach a certain height in the air.

A better way to practice your tiger knees is to cancel out of your launcher by tiger kneeing. This is similar to Viper’s ground pound cancels, and you do so by press S>2369+the atk button as fast as possible so that you don’t leave the ground. If you do it right, your character will perform the special move.

Example: Spencer’s 80k combos that involve him launching people and canceling to his vertical grapple.

I spoke too soon because when I was playing Dorm I was liking him after I had thought I didn’t like playing as him. So as of now I am going to run Haggar/Dorm/Doom…A Mayor and two Kings. I will probably hit up Dante at some point once I get used to the aforementioned team.

GGs Shadow! Shit was fun and it helped me figured some shit out. Hopefully the lag in some of the matches for both games wasn’t too bad. I feel it wasn’t too bad but there was some major lag spikes on my end.

GG. AE doesn’t really lag as bad unless the connection is terrible. Marvel is Marvel.

I can’t count how many times I caught myself hitting a button or crouching while you were in the air. My blocking is usually better than that. Hell, I did better playing against Chrisis. Haha.

I didn’t realize Vortex had that much invincibility. And every time you raw teleported, I fucked up my grab. Except once. And my feeling of triumph was immeasurable.

No, the hilarity is trying to get into a range where you can pull that combo off. I’ve got that combo down pretty well. But it does me no good when Iron Man has no way in. He’d do great with a beam assist that didn’t knock down. Sadly, I believe his is the only one in the game that does that.

Besides, Cr.M St.H Fly MMHS MHS+Missiles air combo S otg+missile hit repulsor knockdown otg super is much more fraudulent.

Hawkeye, learn how to tiger knee the arrows and learn how to slide and stay midscreen. Also learn when to do his normals aka the AAs.

You want to maintain a midscreen position.

Yup, 28 frames of invincibility. You hit me out of it twice though since it takes about 10 frames before it kicks in
