Man played a long series of KOF last night with a couple people, it was fun but I came to a realization, I really don’t like XIII as much as I do other KOFs. If HD mode wasn’t in it I’d probably love it.

I like it as an option but it really seems to deter players from wanting to play, especially since so many people think its HD combo or die.
It seems like it might be there more for people who like loops and longer combos.

I was just in training mode with Hulk for the past 2 hours.

Wow Ryan Hunter proving my Strange frame data knowledge wrong on Honzo’s stream lol. I didn’t know he was completely invincible throughout the entire duration of his counter super. Even throws don’t work, so I can probably beat shit like Bionic Arm and EX TK if I just activate super, XF, then free infinite. :eek:

The invincibility I’ll admit i don’t know about because 9/10 the opponent either just eats it, dhc’s into someone else to take the beam or x factors.
Does it have recovery? its such an easily forgotten move when people are so allured by his vishanti.

Strider/Doom/Ammy was my old main team, but I resorted to it because my tournament jitters weren’t allowing me to play Magneto and Morrigan properly yet(I was able to use them later on though) and I needed the Doom/Ammy THC to get rid of that stupid keepaway with Deadpool with Hidden Missiles. I used that THC every time I got 2 bars and it just kept on working so I abused it.

Oh, fair enough.

I wanted to run MorriDoom the whole tournament, but since I’m still in the learning process of that team I had to switch to my Strider/Doom/Ammy to win on stream. I’m actually the only MorriDoom player in Atlanta since everyone from ATL was there. The only characters I had trouble with all night really were Dante, Vergil, and Zero. The problem is that EVERYONE plays those three characters. -__-

I also played so sloppy I even dropped Doom bnbs constantly. Tournament jitters are too real.

I am mixed sir, thank you very much. I am mostly native american though.

It’s ok man, the first time i went to one, I couldn’t complete any combos or shit as well. You’ll get over it if you go more, practice more, and just play more offline in general (with people). It sucks that everyone plays those characters, it can definitely get boring to only play that style of characters but you seem like you at least know what you’re doing. Should’ve brought out point strider
