Doom is the easiest, the rest you have to grind out man. X-23 IMO was the hardest in the game for me to do I would not wish that on anyone
Just got task and firebrand 10. Those were pretty doable. Any tips for shuma 10? I think that the rest that I above listed have enough written about them here and elsewhere.
d-_-b
Learn how to buffer your charges it’s not difficult just no character has moves like that. X23 was the worst for me it is just so stupid of a combo it cleary was done just to be hard for no reason her xfactor infinite is easier imo
Alright, I’m down to Viper 10, Doom 10, and Morrigan 10 but those will have to wait for a couple of weeks.
Notes:
X 23 10: I used x factor and also launched the character before I started the combo. Launching them gave me more time to land that crazy timing on jumping L.
Skrull 10: For positioning to begin the combo I dashed once, hit Chris with crouching H, and then walked up to next to him to start the combo. For the first air series I jumped straight up, delayed the dash, and did the air combo delaying the H and S slightly. To make the second air series land correctly, I made sure that I hit crouching H as late as possible, immediately jumped straight up, immediately dashed, and did the air series quickly. You have to tiger knee the Orbital Grudge L.
The hardest mission for me so far has been Iron Fist 10 0_o
Anyone have any tips of Deadpool 10? This is my last mission. Is it all about practicing the timing of the dashes? Is better to use buttons or the stick? Thanks to mkeller73 for the tip on Skrull, I hated his mission 10. Also, thanks for making the videos made by Vesper.
For Deadpool, the timing to hit cr. M after Quick Work H and connecting S after Quick Work M are quite strict so you have to time your dashes perfectly in order for them to hit, it also helps if you map a L+M attack button so you don’t have to worry about pulling off a unwanted Chimichangas.
Yeah, just to echo what Evil-Bart said, it’s really all about the timing. You can use either stick dash or button dash, but I used button dash in every mission in the game and didn’t have a problem. In that particular mission, the thing to remember is that Deadpool dashes a lot faster than you think. The timing for the dashes and attacks is to wait a bit longer than it looks like you have to, tap dash, and then tap the attack immediately. Deadpool’s dash slides, so don’t worry about allowing for travel time. Just hit the attack as soon as you dash. With button dashing, it’s basically a double tap/plink, depending on the button.
For Viper 10, just go through the beginning part, which is not ridiculously hard, and make sure you follow the inputs exactly. It’s all pretty easy IMO until you reach the final portion. The trick is to XFC Burst Time whenever you want (I do it after the first air kick but anything works), land, and do a late Level 3. The startup is immediately after the flash and ends within frames, so you have to have perfect timing. Just wait for your opponent to drop and you’ll get it eventually.
For Doom’s 10, wow. This combo was really tricky when I did it, and it certainly hasn’t gotten any less tricky. Just do the first loop as normal. When the second loop comes, the common thought is to hit with the falling J.M as high as possible so the following jump series hits as high as possible so you can land and do your thing. That’s wrong. The goal is actually to hit at a moderate height so you can start your jump series relatively low. To get the double J.M after the airdash, make sure you only allow one hit each. When you land, the toughest part is hitting that St.M. I wish I could give tips on that, but it’s just a link with tricky timing. You can only hit it if you kept your opponent low enough though. The rest is easy.
As for Morrigan, well…

This one, besides being about execution, is all about positioning. Cancel Shadow Blade into Fly nice and low so you don’t have any falling time after you Unfly. The goal in the following jump series is to keep them as low as possible, so delay your attacks a bit. After you fly cancel, I still delay as much as possible if I remember correctly, but you can also just follow exactly what Vesper did. Just make sure you get all the hits on your J.S and link the St.S, and you’ll be gold!
A tip worth note to anyone having problems is to visualize the entire combo before you seriously try to do it. Look up a video if that helps you. Also, understanding the system mechanics is invaluable. I would have beaten X-23’s mission 10 much sooner if I had realized that you could cancel Crescent Scythe L into Talon Attack L as soon as you wanted to… I thought you had to wait, when it turns out I was just messing up the input whenever I tried to do it faster. Once I figured that out, it took me 5 minutes.
I use the 2 buttons. The trick with Deadpool is simply to dash later than you think. You don’t input the dash until after Chun starts falling, and then immediately cancel into your attack (crouching M or S for this mission). The rhythm would be a simple double tap, with the first tap being the dash and the attack immediately following it. You could also use the stick to dash, but I play Deadpool with 2 button dash and once you learn the timing for this it’s automatic. Trust me this one’s really easy just dash later than you think.
So 7 months after release and I still can’t do X-23 mission 10. This one just makes me rage and I haven’t had the patience to try it in months. I seriously hate the jump L to DP L so fucking much. I’ll probably never do this one
Thanks for tips, Cougar and EvilBart also. The timing should be easier to look out for. Yeah X-23 was quite difficult for no reason. It reminded of the Elena trial5 and Ibuki trail5. It is really simple but then they put an obnoxious move that takes forever to connect. I would try to practice the other inputs after so that when you finally get the L to DP L, everything becomes muscle memory. I would hit the L to DP L and be hyped and then miss the QCF L after the DP H. I also tried to looking for the space and timing from this video:

Thanks for those tips Cougar! One clarification question…are you suggesting that the last series go m(1hit) m (1hit) foot dive, dash m(1hit) m(1hit), land link st. m yadda yadda?
StickyJ,
For x 23 10, x factor, launching the opponent and then starting the combo helped me get that one.
No problem! And it’s j. (2) j.
(2) > Footdive xx airdash, j.
(1) j.
(1) > land, st.
> combo. You can also do two hits on the very last j.
, as seen here.

Shoutouts to Vesper for making these awesome videos!
Hey I nee help doing wolvering mission 10 I can’t do the part were you have to do the air s you after the LMS,LMMS, can you help please.
Thanks to everyone in this forum again. Finally did Deadpools 10, really had to grind those dashes out. Timing was strict as hell. Even when I got all the way to the end. I missed the hyper. All missions complete. WOOO!!! (expect for Jill and Shuma because I didn’t download them). I think he was the hardest and least fun. I thought X-23, Morrigan, and Chun’s were easier for me and a bit more fun.
This one is about timing the last part so you could connect the launcher. It’s kinda like the Felicia mission 10. Just do the first two jump sets fast and delay your jump or your delay the last S for the last set so the dummy is closer to the ground to follow up with the launcher, hope that helps. Just watch Vesper to see the example better, too.
Got Doom 10 yesterday. I just mashed out that last mm,footdive, dash, mm series like a monkey on crack. Final 2 are morrigan 10 and viper 10. I can do those. Thanks for the tips and vids gaiz. F ironfist 10.
Thanks a lot man, I finally manned up and did X-23 10. Now I’m a master of tasks, finally. Really had to grind this mission out. I finally got the air L to crescent scythe L cancel down but my main issue was canceling the crescent scythe to talon attack. The game kept storing a forward input or my execution just wasn’t good enough to get a clean cancel into talon attack so quickly.
I thought this was the toughest mission by far. For anyone wanting additional tips on it, I called Magneto assist (P2) before starting the combo. It knocks them up high enough and it is a good alternative to launching the dummy first. Your inputs have to be clean and super fast so this is one you just have to really focus on not getting any unnecessary inputs at all
Congrats dude! It was difficult road to get there.
hey how do u do mission 9 strom i can lan the S after the second air lightning attack
