Look again bro. Hawkeye already proceeded to clip the wings of quite a few Arremers. It also looks like Cap’s shiled can hold off the fire. I think Cap and Firebrand are evenly matched, while Hawkeye would pretty much wreck the Arremers and then help out Cap take down Firebrand…

You know I actualy debated this awhile back…Awhiiiile back on each one. Surprisingly I think i was proven wrong and that Ghost Rider would take the fight against Dante, not because Ghost Rider can blow up planets or something on Phoenix level., simply because he basically can’t be harmed by Dante. and Strider vs Spiderman is close if Spider-Man does not have the Sense that its much more in Strider’s favor. I also debated Nemesis vs X-23 very throughly, in Nemesis’favor though.

Dante has never killed a human, only demons, so Ghost Rider’s whole premise doesn’t work against Dante. Including the Penance Stare.

In Devil Trigger, he can only be killed by a demon, and I’m gonna say the only ones who could do that are Dormmamu, Shuma, Jedah and Morrigan. Dante also beat the Lord of Hell whos probably better than Ghost Rider.
Apparently in Marvel universe Mundus’ is nothing compared to the likes of Mephisto and Satannish, but apparently’. Dante can’t harm Ghost Rider either, the guy practically is invulnerable (like Dante) to all forms of physical and magical pain and damage since he regenerates anyways. Only thing that harms him apparently is holy weapons, that of which Dante does not have. But thus Ghost Rider can’t harm Dante if Dante is not a sinner, its just a battle of never ending invulnerability.
Let’s not forget Firebrand.

Task is just a guy that can copy stuff. Just because he can copy some of Hsien-Ko’s moves doesn’t make him able to use the magical ones or make him better.
Besides, even the weakest Darkstalkers are stronger than most humans. Hsien-Ko would beat him. Shes undead in nature so much harder to kill and hurt.

Dante would win if the safety aka (Johnny Blaze) keeps Zarathos in the dark who’s powers are Godlike and boundless.
Johnny is a clueless to what he could do with Zarathos power, and usually never takes Zarathos up on his offers.
Hell Fire burns yo soul as well so physical wounds are the least of dante’s worries, His penance stare was enough to kill a good angel, and Johnnoy didn’t even want to kill him just find out the truth, and it was enough to reduce him to bones, heck strange was an innocent yet he still got stared.
Dan ketch (hosting noble kale) Johnny blazes little brother who is weaker then Johnny/zarathos was powerful enough to become a ruler of hell. Dante is out classed.
V.Joe’s powers are Slowing down time, speeding up time, becoming on fire, and "zooming-in"which basically powers him up. He also has weapons, a huge Gundam, and knows martial arts and general kick ass. He also can take hits, like slashes from swords or gunshots even in his normal form.
Another underlooked ability of his is to combine his powers, for example he can slow down time for the opponent but speed it up (make it normal) for him.

I think Firebrand is actually pretty freaking strong. I think most people think he’s weak because his race are normal but annoying mooks in Ghosts’n Goblins but he’s actually the best of his kind. And surprisingly you can think of him as a good guy… if you’re a demon. I know barely anyone who played Demon’s Crest but he basically went around beating the shit out of people to become the strongest and at the end he basically pulls an Akuma and waits for someone to come along so he can kick their ass. I would loved to see more of his transformations in this game since they were all different in the game, but it makes sense if it’s post-Demon’s Crest because he dumps all the crests anyways and awaits someone to gather them so he could fight them. It’s nice to see his time form as an alternate costume though.
Which makes me wonder how strong Phalanx + Heaven Crest are, and even the Dark demon which is even stronger than Phalanx is. I wonder if the Dark demon is a Mundus-level threat at least because it was sealed away because it can destroy the world and was the strongest before Firebrand came along.
Also thinking about it, Viewtiful Joe would rock pretty much most of the cast. I can imagine RR sending a rocket toward him. Slow down time, punch it, and the rocket becomes bigger and bigger. Then to be even more of a jackass, Joe presses zoom and slow at the same time doing 1.5X with the added hits from slowing time down. Viewtiful Forever (if you get hit in slow, you take no damage and you zoom in for a pose that explodes the screen) would also rock RR, and pretty much any other physical attacks for free.
