Does anyone know what makes Vergil’s Dimension Slash super cross up? The guide says it only crosses up if he does it in the air right next to you but I played against a guy playing Vergil and I would be in the top right corner while he’s in the bottom left corner, he would throw out random Dimension Slash and it would cross me. Other times I would be about 4-5 character lengths away and it would cross me up too. It’s really annoying and if anyone has any solutions it would be much appreciated.

Hello guys

Sorry if this is not the right place for this, but i need some advice,

I want to support my local scene by learning umvc3 because there is not many people playing the game (marvel is not really popular here ), as you can see i’m playing different games, but Marvel is really fun to watch and i think that i have a good attitude in order to face any adversities while i’m learning the game, i just want to know 3 things:

How is the online community now? i’m not an online warrior but i want to learn some basic things there.
How is the overall balance of the game right now? i saw the balance discussion thread but i’m a bit lost there.
Some differences between this and KOF? (because this is my main 2D FG now) i need to know on which points i have the advantage now and learn other areas of the game.

I was bored and couldn’t find anybody online so I did a small cmv that has nothing spectacular but oh well.
Edit: I just found out I can pretty much dish out much more damages on some combos like the first one by changing it a little bit. Too bad I uploaded that I guess but whatever.
