You guys do not know how much I enjoy waiting for the opponent whiffing a move or doing a special/hyper move and I punish with Gimlet/XFC/Gimlet. oh the lols. and when you catch the assist two then LOL!!! sorry had moments online.

Here I guess is a general question.
I can do combos I pick like two per character. Then I go online and got rocked. I find that I sit there blocking the whole match afraid to press a button or assist. While this is happening I’m getting Tri-jumped, teleported towards, ect ect. Sooner or later I either miss the block or press a button and get blown up.
How do I avoid this tragic disposition? In my mind I see the game running super fast but the my movements are insanely slow (I know this is the mind set). How do I keep on the offensive/block and get on the offensive? I typically hit a block string with someone then they call an assist teleport and I’m blown up. Thanks for any help
Just keep playing. Mahvel isn’t like most other games. You have to train yourself to actually be able to see what the hell is happening on the screen and react to it in time.

Arthur’s mission 10 is Godlike. It’s not that hard, but it took me a while. When I landed the Fire Dragon, I felt like doing Arthur’s pose when he summons it, so good. Kinda like when Marn did the Gravity Squeeze and became Marneto.
I’m getting a lot better with Wright and Ammy. 
I’m really enjoying using Amaterasu and I regret not using her seriously in vanilla. She was the reason I even bought vanilla, and given how it was my first capcom fighters game and how difficult she was for a scrub like me I just didn’t like her. Still need to get used to the glaive, spamming H gets old lol. I also wanna practice my keepaway with her.
I suck hardcore with Hawkeye though, all I do is spam arrows. Need to practice keepaway with him a LOT better. I already got my BnB with him but I always mess up my backdash -> trick maneuver L -> Ice Breaker OTG. So I need to work on him! On some occasions I use Taskmaster instead since I love the guy and he also works well, but god I just realized how bad I am with him lol.
I’m having a lot of fun with the game, and I’m definitely taking it more seriously than vanilla. Still have yet to touch online, but I hit the arcade often on hard or very hard to practice blocking and approaching.
EDIT: Oh god I just realized I can just hold back after an air combo so I can get the OTG without dashing with Hawkeye…

Your mission 10 is horrible. Even when I manage to get the timing on all Mystic Stares, the tentacled one still misses the Chaos Dimension Grab. And when I practice it without doing the combo before, it never fails.
We all have our inner Juiceboxes. It just takes the right character to bring it out.

Lol cry! cry! jk it’s a bit tricky But you’ll get it eventually. Still don’t see why you are using Shuma’s mission mode combos though. They are so impractical most of the time. His quickest and best loop is the cr.H to J.M to J.H(down) J.H(up) (wash rinse repeat from J.M) launcher standard YYB J.S OTG relaunch YYB J.S Hyper Mystic Ray for 610k damage (corner). Since he can now karadash you can actually apply more pressure on the opponent from a non corner

From Day 1 (of Vanilla) I’ve used her and never regretted it (and never switched unless it was an All Random team). Although the H spam you were talking about is kind of crappy, but damn the timing for the weapon change is pretty hard to do in the middle of combos.
Hell, I didn’t even know she was in the game. When I scrolled past her, I was like “Wait, is that a dog in mah MAHVEL? LOLOLOL that doesn’t belong here!”
