I think they’re having another “side” game before they release KH3 since it’s supposed to be the last game in the Xehanort Saga. I thoroughly enjoyed Birth By Sleep though.

It’s a bit unsafe, but only if they manage to get around the attack in the first place. Maya functions like Sentinel’s drones in HSF in that super, I’m pretty sure that nothing can stop her at all.

if you haven’t played birth by sleep you have made a terrible choice. it is easily the best entry in the series. outdid 2 and questionably the first.

its been a decade since the first came out and the next release is dream drop distance which is the first to take place after Kh2.

for the record i liked Xiii and Xiii-2 is my fave FF along with X-2.

I think Square Enix is trying to milk the “13 series” so much because they don’t ever want to progress into Final Fantasy 15 simply because they don’t want to keep going and going and going, simply they think the # of the title might be stupid. I want another mainstream FF.

Yeah what happened to that shit? Seriously, I heard about XIII Versus having the same type of gameplay as KH (straight fighting, no taking turns) which got me really siked for it.

BBS - I should buy it (gotta find my father’s PSP) but I just never really liked playing adventure games on portable systems. Especially since whenever I have free time, my PS3 is right there which is why I no longer have a 3DS. Also, I know how bad this sounds but the story wasnt a significant part for me. Like I understood most of it but what I really loved was being able to meet all these cool FF people Id never known about (I dont like turn-based RPGs) and then helping Disney characters that I knew as a kid. I may be wrong, but I always felt most, if not all, the handheld games were more for people who just loved the story and gameplay (although not every game has the same gameplay). Me, I loved the characters so not being able to play as Sora while joking around with Donald and Goof is a big part for me. I like Donald and Goofy but even though they arent my favorite characters, spending all that time with them in KH and KHII made me get attached. Always yelling at [S]my screen[/S] Donald for dying so fast, laughing at their funny faces, etc.

birth by sleep has the best gameplay you mainly do unique disney places in BBS. very few FF bitches.
The characters are still there, ventus is more like sora in personality and roxas in appearance. BBS is closest to the KH1 experience aside from donald and goofy. and to be honest they were more troublesome in 1 and kinda broken in 2 {goofys team attacks with sora wrecked health bars})
the story is the same old, key blade darkness etc etc, cept no happy ending.
your solo but your skills are amazing to compensate.
also the only true turn based rpg in the FF series is 10. try one. i thought the same thing.
they all go in a “my atb bar is ready now attack” sorta thing.
not the “you , me, you, me, you” like pokemon (aside from 10 that is very turn based but you can change it up a bit)
persona series is turn based (2 3 and 4 ignore 1) and if you missed those (3 and 4 mainly 2 has 2 parts) then you missed on some great rpgness

my gripe with square and the KH series was that they ALWAYS get a fucking definitive version of Kh games. when they did KH2 FM i was done. more story and over 20 new bosses? fuck that s hit baller. not cool. at all.

Yeah I played the demo for XIII-2 and I actually kinda liked it. Wasnt what I was expecting at all. And Pokemon is probably the only turn-based RPG I like although the “no voices bc it’s Nintendo lulz” would piss me off at times. I might pick up BBS, thanks bro

xiii and xiii-2 is an even more ambitious take on the older FF battle system. some feels it makes it very “lol press auto for win” i feel it makes it very “ahh i can press auto and sit here for 3 minutes or make clever use of paradigms and shifts and make this shit 1 minute”

XIII-2 would be a fascinating place to start in the FF series. considering its a sequel to one of “the worst” in the series.

BBS was really fun for some reason. make sure and play it in Terra>ventus>aqua order for the fullest story.

im telling you, if you are obtaining these to “try” on your “fully updated” psp. give persona 3 portable a shot. pokemon will no longer be your favorite turn based “monster based” RPG.

Oddly enough, my phone and PS2 (and now my Wii) are fully updated but I never did it with my PSP (technically it’s my fathers but he doesnt care). I’ll have to look into it and “try” a few games.

KOF13 - Great game with cool looking characters and moves. Loved the games even when I just button mashed as a kid but playing it now, this game is very fun once you can actually do things. Doing stC -> :df:+D xx :qcf:+D -> :rdp:+B xx :qcb::db::qcf:+:p: -> :qcf:+:lp: -> :hcb:+:k: is very satisfying

UMVC3 - Very capable of producing salt but a fun game nonetheless. Unfortunately gets called one of the easiest fighters.

SF4AE 2012 - Havent paid attention to this bc I suck at it.

Tekken Tag 2 - seems to be Tekken’s hype fighter. Looking forward to it although I suck at Tekken/never got into the competitive side of it

Blaz Blu Ex - Great game, impressive visuals, awesome story with good voice acting. Unfortunately I havent practiced BBCS in a few months

DOA5 - LOVE THIS FUCKING GAME! IDC what anyone says this game is fun. Im more excited that PS3 gets it though.

SFxT - I think if people stop trying to make it into something it’s not, it might turn out to be fun. If it’s a balanced (with or w./o gems) competitive game, great. If it isnt, it’s still going to be fun because it’s a game where you can pick a team of two from the Tekken and SF universes plus it has characters like Poison, Hugo, Jin, Hwoarang, etc all using the SF4 graphics engine.

UMVC3 - Nemesis, Nemesis did I mention Nemesis? Yeah Nemesis, love this game despite the salt. When you defeat salt however- it just makes victory oh so much sweeter currenlty my main fighter

SF4AE 2012 - Would like to learn this game some time in the future, I was never a big street fighter guy though, if I DID player SF I would totally use Akuma/Gouki
