Need more people in real life that are good to play with, After getting it in over 100 matches with my boy today I was feeling really on point. Took that shit online and my characters moving slow, i’m dropping combos that I have downloaded to my muscle memory already, I’m watching someone cross up adjusting and still getting hit 0_o.
Shout outs to the online warriors, you guys are soldiers for dealing with it. This is def better then Vanilla but still not like mvc2 was. How was I doing ironman unfly combos online back then but can hardly do my Vergil dancing sword combos online now? When these combos are so much easier?
Getting UMvC3 tomorrow, pretty excited. I’m going to try and learn some characters I’m interested in today in vanilla, like Trish (seriously why isn’t she used more?), Chris (been wanting to learn him since…ever), Felicia, Arthur (I already know how to use him, I’m just gonna start practicing keepaway more with him) and try and get better with Ammy, Doom, Dorm and Task.
Eddie Brock is Anti-Venom now. They aren’t going to use Eddie Brock Venom because it doesn’t fit with the current lore. Marvel has been adamant about keeping everything current and up to date, which is why they went with the current Cyclops and not 80’s Cyclops for a card.
Phoenix dies and comes back to life all the time. It’s pretty much impossible to kill her permanently. The fact that she was put in the game probably means that Marvel has plans to bring her back some time in the near future.
Yeah I just woke up and I’m seeing these H&H artworks, and to be honest I’m not pissed off, if they can’t make these characters playable because of specific reasons, then I’d rather see them as a cameo/reference.I just find hilarious that Steven actually made it in as a card… just wow… “I don’t allow vandalism in my STOOOOREEEEEE!” immediately came to my mind… that guy was freaky .
Also, why do people think this is a reason for these character to be excluded? This is just an image, that’s it… and a lot of these characters are incredibly obscure, and others would happen to have a very similar gameplay to other characters that already in the game.
However, am I the only one curious about how these images were leaked? Or rather, *who *leaked them? Pretty weird don’t you think?

The reason why Mega Man isn’t in UMvC3 is probably because he’s going to be in SFxT.
I’ll laugh if fans will still get mad about it. You got your Mega Man, just in a different fighting game.

That exactly what Im saying, If SFXT was actually gonna be good I wouldnt mind. Between the gems and the shitty character models I’d be more than pissed if Megaman was in there instead of ultimate. And thats a pretty stupid reason for megaman not to be in ultimate because chun li and ryu are gonna in sfXt too, and they’re in Ultimate.
Think about it for a second, Capcom obviously want to make SFxT sell very well, and if they include Mega Man in that game instead of Ultimate it’s gonna steal UMvC3’s sales. At least I think it’s what they’re intending.
That, or they wanted to add another popular Capcom character in Ultimate to please their fans instead of adding Mega Man in two Capcom fighters game.
SFxT is still early in development, I decided to get it just because of Pac Man despite my most wanted characters not being in…yet! Still, Pac Man and Yoshimitsu are go enough reasons to have fun with the game.
I don’t know why you guys are taking the cards seriously, though. I’m pretty happy to see Sissel as a card, even if he’s my most wanted character. When I finished Ghost Trick around UMvC3’s announcement, I lost hope for Wright and wanted Sissel instead. Which is pretty funny because my friend IM’d me at that time telling me Wright was leaked.
Has there ever been a fighting game where DLC characters were implemented into the game, but weren’t announced at the time of the games launch? I’m not talking about specific characters being revealed, but the concept of DLC characters itself. MK9, for example, didn’t announce the identities of all of their DLC fighters on launch, but we knew DLC characters were coming for the game before launch. Just wondering.
The reason that everyone is so pissed about the cards is that this lowers the chances of ALOT of characters making it in. Its even worse that no street fighter characters are cards. Ken having more of a chance than X or Gene or hell, ANYONE on the list, I swear this is some of the dumbest shit ive seen in a long time.
Wow, really? People are pissed off about cards? People really expect MORE characters in this game of almost 50 characters? Some people are just never satisfied…
